UNCHANED FROM EU PARLIAMENT OF THE ABSURD... NEXT, UNCHAINING OUR NATION FROM UK WESTMINSTER.

Letter in Y Cymro newspaper July 2nd 2016

Dear Editor,

On behalf of Embassy Glyndŵr, may I take advantage of your letter page to congratulate the 854,872 (that is 52% of the Cymry of Cenedl Glyndŵr along with an army of businesses (many that were listed as part of Karen Owen’s article in the last issue of Y Cymro – and more) that had the confidence and the faith to vote in favour of leaving the E.U’s ‘Parliament of the Absurd’ in last week’s referendum.

At last, our small nation got off its knees in a form of resistance that has not been winessed since Owain Glyndwr’s great war of national liberation against the might of England’s oppression at the dawning of the 15th century.

Since the referendum result, the leaders of the ‘leave campaign’ in England have declared the 23rd June Independence Day and the regaining of Britain’s sovereignty but, Embassy Glyndwr has been calling for the 21st June to be recognised as our Independence Day here in Cymru since 1998. We have been consistent in our endeavours to promote this campaign to regain our Sovereignty and promoting the flying of the Owain Glyndŵr flag all over our land as the only flag, above all others, that can symbolize our Sovereignty is crucial to that campaign to win back that Sovereignty.

Isn’t it wonderful to see the flag that is symbolic of our Independence and Sovereignty flying high above the main pavilion at the National Eisteddfod annually (thanks to Embassy Glyndwr of course for organising sponsorship for such) and isn’t it also great to see it being worn and waved by rugby and football supporters at national and international matches as currently by supporters of our national football team as they win one glorious victory after the next in the Euro 2016 games.

Yes, its Cymru’s time to shine in more ways than one and the result of the referendum in Cymru is a heartening sign that the Cymry have, at last woken up from the deep sleep that they have been in for over 600 yrs and we should now take advantage of the opportunity that’s poised to rekindle the campaign for the Independence and Sovereignty of our nation in earnest. Now that we have freed ourselves of the undemocratic and costly chains of the E.U. ‘Parliament of the Absurd’, the next logical step should be to free ourselves of the chains of Westminster.

But, which political party is ‘really’ going to grasp the reins? I would strongly suggest that every Cymric patriot should only vote for the party that has Independence and Sovereigntyas a main aim in their political constitution and manifesto from today on – and, of course, as a means of promoting and enhancing the growth of the campaign, it would be highly beneficial if every establishment, along with all Cymric patriots, got into the practise of the flying and displaying of the the flag that is a visual symbolism of our Independence and Sovereignty, Owain Glyndŵr flag, at every given opportunity and all year round.

Let us learn from other small nations such as Catalonia and Kurdistan who permanently fly their flags to declare their Independence and Sovereignty rights – and would not consider not doing so. After all, there will be plenty of vacent flag poles in Cymru now to fly our Independence and Sovereignty flag once they get rid of the ‘Parliament of the Absurd’ flags from them and we will have even more vacent flag poles once we get rid of the Union Jack flags as well.

Our Independenc and Sovereignty flags (size 5’ x3’) has been available at all Cymraeg shops for years but, if you should wish to buy an even larger Owain Glyndwr flag (size 5’ x8’) from a very limited number available, then please do contact me on email sifl@hotmail.co.uk.
